This is a speech I did about environment.

My Sister

My sister’s name is Sachini Rosa. She is 21 years old. She is my own sister. I only have a sister. Her hair is long. Her favourite colour is blue. She is slim and fair. She pets me. We always fight. She doesn’t like bad things. She always squeezes my cheeks. I love my sister very much.

My Cousin Brother

My cousin brother’s name is Dinura. He is 11 years old. He is in Grade 6. He lives in Maharagama. He goes to Ananda College. He likes to play games in the computer. He doesn’t like girls. He can run very fast. He comes to my house. I love him very much.

My Father

My father’s name is Rajendra Rosa. His hometown is Negombo. He works in the People’s Bank. He is a Deputy Manager there. He brings me toys and books. He doesn’t like to stay home without going to work. He likes to listen to news. He always reads newspapers. He hugs me before he goes to office. I love my father very much.

My Mother

My mother’s name is Chandrani Kohomban. Her school was Southland’s College, Galle. There are five members in her family. She has two sisters. She works in Sri Lanka Telecom. My mother always calls me “chooti duwa.” She helps me to do my homework. She even stitches clothes for us. She is kind. She has a lot of Buddhism books. She is the prettiest flower in my life. 

Mother’s day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May. She loves me very much. And I love her too.

Myself

My name is Shanya Rosa. I am nine years old. I live in Kohuwala. My school is Holy Family Convent. I am in Grade 4. I have one sister and no brothers. My sister’s name is Sachini Natasha Rosa. My mother’s name is Chandrani. My father’s name is Raju Rosa. My hobby is reading books. I like to eat grapes. I like to drink faluda.
